Pickleball has become the fastest growing racquet sport in the country, and many parks and clubs now share tennis courts with painted pickleball lines or have converted courts outright. Dedicated pickleball facilities, indoor and outdoor, rent courts by the hour and run open play sessions where players rotate in. Padel, played on an enclosed court with glass walls, is arriving in the Sun Belt and big cities; platform tennis (paddle) is a winter game on heated, elevated courts in the Northeast and Midwest; racquetball and squash live inside athletic clubs and YMCAs; badminton and table tennis have their own clubs in most metro areas. Equipment is cheap to rent or borrow for a first session at nearly all of them.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Best pickleball facility in NYC. The courts are amazing, the staff is incredible and there is instant replay technology! It is only 10 minutes from FIDI and getting into the facility was seamless. The lounge area while you wait is beautiful and has vending machines for snacks and drinks. You can even rent high quality paddles or purchase them, the owners thought of everything with this gem of a Pickeball facility. Iβd recommend it to all my family and friends, a 10/10 experience all around!

I had such a great experience playing pickleball here! The environment was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made everything feel comfortable and enjoyable from the moment I walked in. The courts were in great condition, and the overall vibe was just really welcoming. What stood out the most was how kind and friendly everyone was. From the staff to the other players, everyone had such a positive attitude and made it easy to feel included, whether youβre a beginner or more experienced. Definitely a spot Iβd recommend if youβre looking for a fun, clean, and welcoming place to play pickleball!

this is by far the most luxurious pickle court Iβve been too. Staff is always so nice and they have amazing open/ social play right now ($20-$30 for 3 hours!!!) there is spacious lounge areas perfect for work / laptop. I went on Sunday night and the staff Akash was very helpful and actively kept the courts clean from balls. Would def come back again there is pretty good parking nearby. Their merch is also high quality and fashionable I got 2 hats :)

This was my first time visiting Velto Pickleball Club, and even though Iβm still pretty new to pickleball, I loved the experience. They offer lessons, which is a big plus. I was especially impressed with how easy everything is to book through the app. The self-service vending machines are next level, with high-quality products and even full meals. They somehow even sell caviar. The lockers and changing rooms are super convenient, and the work stations are surprisingly comfortable. Iβm definitely looking forward to coming back more often and would highly recommend it. Itβs a great escape from the hustle and bustle of NYC.

I have been to many clubs across the US and internationally, and I have to say, they did a killer job with the design and playability with this facility. The courts play perfectly, lighting is great, and the lounge area matches high end hotels, just something you wonβt expect from a pickleball facility. They also offer pickleball open plays, court reservations, leagues, and clinics, all day long, so there are so many ways to play. They also always provide balls and paddles for people who donβt have their own and thatβs such a good touch! Will be coming often!
